UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is thermoplastic engineering plastics, which is normally used in the area of marine, transport, coal-mining, machinery,  paper-making, textile industry, etc.

Ultra High Molecular Weight Polythylene (PE-UHMW) occupies the extreme end of the polyethylene performance spectrum. With a molecular weight ranging from 3 to 9 million g/mol, PE-UHMW linear polymer chains are 10 times longer than conventional HDPE. This UHMWPE fender  face pads are used mostly on the dock and port.
