UHMWPE is a polyethylene with a molecular weight of 4.5 - 6 million. It is this high molecular weight that gives UHMWPE its unsurpassed combination of slickness, toughness and chemical resistance. We uses 100% virgin UHMWPE in every product manufactured.

UHMWPE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is thermoplastic engineering plastics, which is normally used in the area of marine, transport, coal-mining, machinery,  paper-making, textile industry, etc.

Longer Belt and Chain Life ABOSN Guides are far slicker than steel or other thermoplastics, resulting in less wear on expensive transfer belts and drive/attachment chains.

Reduced Wear  ABOSN Guides outwear abrasion resistant steel by 3 to 1 and PTFE by 5 to 1. UHMW has the highest abrasion resistance of any thermoplastic for longer guide life, even in abrasive environments.

Modular DesignABOSN unique design simplifies initial installation and facilitates future replacement of UHMW inserts, while allowing for thermal expansion. Mounting channels are available in galvanized steel, stainless steel, and anodized aluminum and can be supplied with pre-punched mounting holes for added convenience.

Precision Machined All ABOSN  Belt and Chain Guides are machined to extremely close tolerances from compression molded sheets. This process results in a higher molecular weight and superior performance than possible with extruded UHMW profiles.
