Product Description
UHMW-PE (Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene) is thermoplastic engineering plastics, which is normally used in the area of marine, transport, coal-mining, machinery, paper-making, textile industry, etc. UHMWPE is often referred to as the world’s toughest polymer.
High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is more rigid and harder than lower density PE’s. Its tensile strength is four times that of LDPE and its compressive strength is three times better. Compared to UHMWPE it has approximately 1/3 the wear resistance and 1/2 the impact resistance.
HDPE Rod areas of applications: various kinds of machinery accessories and components, including food machinery gear, tubine, worm, bearings. Chemical pumps, valves, dampers, filter plate.
